as a side note -- and maybe you were speaking colloquially for brevity&#039;s sake, but no one in authority on the matter believes that gorillas are, in any way, a human ancestor.

what evolution explains is how humans and gorillas likely evolved from a shared,  primate, ancestor.</description>

		<description>I guess it&#039;s a matter of perspective, my friend.  I would look at the same story, and say, Isn&#039;t it miraculous how God can use a gorilla to save the life of a child?  

Because they have similar maternal qualities hardly proves ancestry.</description>
