Each religion views time from a unique perspective and brings different questions to science about time.
Families of religions may ask similar questions, but they also have distinct concerns. The three main monotheistic religions — Christianity, Judaism and Islam — agree that the flow of time is rooted in the understanding of a creator who guides the creation toward a final goal. In the same way, religions that believe in reincarnation have a different perspective on time. The two families of religions have different perspectives on the nature of the physical world that science studies.
