just got out of the wilco show at the murat theater in indianapolis.
amazing show, it was.
i’m not super familiar with wilco, and never would have thought of buying tickets myself, but my friend greg’s wife got the flu, and he suddenly had one available, so i went with.
i dunno how i missed the wilco bus, but better late than never, i guess.
the sound, as it always is at the murat, was perfect.
vocals were clearly understandable, and every instrument was clean and the band was clearly in good form.
transitions were very tight, and they did lots of swells that made the crowd go nuts.
all in all, it was one of the best shows i’ve ever been to.
disturbing lack of hippies though. i dunno what that’s about.
