lightning food review: curry veggie fried rice from trader joe’s
trader joe’s curry veggie fried rice is amazingly good, very healthy and prepares quickly.
all that on top of not being expensive.
fantastic.

I’m sure they were paid an assload of money to do this Oreo Double Stuf Lick Race, or whatever it is, but it seems that the Mannings should have rethought their venture into homoerotic brotherly tongue competitions that involve thick, white cream.
remember the aerobie?
it is that red and black ring that made it possible for mere mortals to throw a frisbee three football fields (usually, of course, by the time a disk flies 300 yards, it is way way way way WAY WAY off course, but anyway).
i have a well-desered reputation for being somewhat of a nerd about a few things.
i happily geek out about macintosh computers, things that fly, submarines, evolution, and, last and most certainly not least coffee.
and now, thanks to my mother, i have a new toy that combines two of these passions: the aeropress: an espresso maker from the inventor of the aerobie.
this little machine is amazing.
here, this is from a review at signelservecoffee.com:
Delicious. Very non-bitter and always got the flavor of the coffee we were using. We could also depending on the mix time and the amount of time we took pressing the coffee out of the Aeropress get various strengths of coffee. We really enjoyed having almost total control over the type of coffee we produced and it all felt very zen like when you would get in tune with the Aeropress.
i find all of this to be true. the aeropress is a joy to use, and makes fantastic coffee.
i can hardly wait to get truly good at it!
i am a big proponent of eating food that is grown and produced within 100 miles of home whenever possible.
i just fell in love with this place:
It may be easier to give you an idea of what you won’t find. Just to give you an idea you won’t find tomatoes in January, you won’t find blood oranges in June, you won’t find asparagus in November and you won’t find brussel sprouts in August. Basically, if it’s not in season go to Marsh. You will find produce that has been selected for quality and wholesomeness. We only scout for organically grown, certified organic and locally grown produce. Our produce selections change frequently, kind of like the seasons. Is that weird or what?
A few moments after my order, a plate was sat in front of me that contained lots of fresh, white sushi slices…positioned just below the still-gasping decapitated fugu head. My dad was so disturbed that he asked the waitress to take the fugu head away while I happily chomped away at the delicious sushi. Well, at least I knew it was fresh!
